Florida Licensure Education Track 1 – Building Code Basics for Builders and Permit Technicians

This one-hour course introduces builders and permit technicians to the foundational building
code knowledge needed to successfully prepare, review, and submit permit applications.

codes, how those codes references influence construction requirements, and what information
must be included on permit applications for approval. The course emphasizes real-world
