Tatiana Gust is a seasoned construction professional with over two decades of diverse experience across a wide range of roles in the construction industry. As a licensed Professional Engineer, she is deeply committed to continual learning, teaching, and sharing knowledge related to building codes and their practical application. In addition to her engineering license, Tatiana holds credentials as a Building Code Administrator, Plans Examiner, Building Inspector, and General Contractor. Her career has included field supervision, project estimation, and significant involvement in the government sector—advancing to the role of senior plans examiner and eventually leading an entire building department. It was during this leadership role that Tatiana recognized she could make a broader impact in the industry. In 2013, she founded Elite Permits, where she continues to lead both the technical and operational aspects of the company. Her primary mission is to simplify the permitting process while maintaining strict compliance with building codes. With experience in both public and private sectors, Tatiana brings a well-rounded perspective that blends regulatory expertise with firsthand understanding of on-site project challenges. She is passionate about improving the construction process not just for her clients, but for the industry as a whole—and is dedicated to sharing the insights she has gained throughout her career.
