Shane has experience in administrative, supervisor, direct, enforcement, or performance on the permitting and inspection of construction, alteration, repair, remodeling, or demolition of structures and the installation of building systems within unincorporated Orange County, when permitting is required, to ensure compliance with the Florida Building Code of a building department of over 200 full time positions in a county with a population in excess of 1.3 million residents and 1,000 square miles. Interpret and make determinations on building, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical code requirements utilizing information from applicable laws, rules, ordinances, codes, and standards. Facilitate a culture of exceeding client expectations by streamlining processes and removing barriers to ensure projects maintain momentum and progress through completion.
