Michael Kramer is Principal in the Tampa office of BSB Design, a nationally-recognized architecture and planning firm with 12 offices coast to coast. His career also includes key design and operations positions with national homebuilding companies and regional architecture firms, so he has first-hand knowledge of what homebuilders need from their architectural design teams. He can speak directly to the specific challenges homebuilders face and the best ways for design and planning to overcome those challenges en route to a successful project. Throughout his career, Michael has been an active advocate for the homebuilding industry and has served locally, at the state level and nationally for more than 20 years. He has been the active Life Director for the Manatee-Sarasota Building Industry Association since 2002 and served as President of that association in 2010. As such, Michael has led association meetings and emceed ceremonies, programs and sessions for these industry events throughout his career. At IBS 2022, Michael led multiple high-profile presentations as part of his lead role in the design team for The New American Home 2022, including the media event and the IBS Building Zone. He is currently serving nationally on NAHB’s Leadership Council.
