Rules & Regulations

EXHIBITOR CONTRACTS
Exhibitor contracts, including standard and/or negotiated terms, will be held as confidential by all parties within the contract.

SEBC management reserves the right to change the floor plan without notice, to provide for a successful trade expo.

EXHIBITOR CANCELLATIONS
All cancellation notices must be made in writing and sent to the 2024 SEBC office. Cancellations made prior to March 30, 2024 will receive a 25% refund of the required booth deposit. Cancellations made after March 30, 2024 are not eligible for a refund.

BOOTH PACKAGES
All Exhibitor Booth Packages Include:

  • Complimentary passes to the Expo Hall for client distribution
  • Expo & Education Passes to all educational seminars and networking events
  • Company listing on the SEBCshow.com site and SEBC Official Program
  • 8’ back drop, 3’ side rails, pipe & drape, and signage

Premium Booth Package Includes:

  • All of the items listed under “All Exhibitor Booth Packages”
  • Premium exposure on the Show Floor along the Main Entrance
  • Company highlight in official SEBC marketing materials prior to the show
  • Half-page ad in the official SEBC Program

The following items are not included with booth packages: Carpet/Floor Coverings, Electric, WiFi, Lead Retrieval, Rigging, or Furniture. These items can be purchased through SEBC’s Preferred Vendors.

SETUP
Exhibitors with booth space 10 x 20 or larger may begin to set up Monday, July 22, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. All other exhibitors may begin set up on Tuesday, July 23, at 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Exhibitors may set up their own booth as long as you use full time company employees. If you use a service contractor other than The Expo Group, SEBC’s official service contractor, you must fill out the Exhibitor Appointed Contractor (EAC) form and provide a certificate of insurance naming The Expo Group, SEBC, and the Orange County Convention Center as additional insurers. TEARDOWN
Teardown shall begin when the show ends on Thursday, July 25, at 4:00 p.m. You will have until 10:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 25, to remove material from the exhibit hall.

No display shall be dismantled before the show closing on Thursday. Any exhibitor who begins to break down their booth before 4:00 p.m. will not be invited back nor allowed to exhibit at future shows.

It is the exhibitor’s responsibility to arrange for packing and removal of all exhibit material prior to leaving the exhibit hall.

BOOTH SPECIFICATIONS
Exhibits shall not project beyond booth space allotted. Equipment and displays shall not exceed eight feet in height unless approved by show management. Side walls shall not extend more than five feet up or five feet out from back wall.

An exhibitor planning to exceed eight feet in height must submit to show management, in advance, a drawing and detailed description of the display.

All exposed parts of any display must be finished or covered with drapery at exhibitor’s expense.

FLOOR COVERING
All exhibitors are required to have some form of floor covering in their booth whether rented through The Expo Group or provided by the exhibitor. For more information about The Expo Group, please contact Customer Service at 972.580.9000.

OTHER CONSIDERATIONS

  • Electricity – Booths are not equipped with electricity. This service can be ordered through the Orange County Convention Center.
  • Wi-Fi – The convention center does not have complimentary Wi-Fi. This service can be ordered through the Orange County Convention Center.
  • Lead Retrieval – It is recommended that all exhibitors rent a scanner to collect and store sales leads, this service is provided by CompuSystems.
  • Tables, Chairs & Accessories – The cost of booth space does not include booth furnishings. You may either bring your own or rent through The Expo Group.
  • Food & Beverage – The Contemplate/Sodexo is the exclusive provider for all food and beverage. Absolutely NO outside food and/or beverages may be served from your booth during this upcoming event (this includes but is not limited to, logo bottled water or any type of pre-packaged food). If you wish to serve these items, you must request permission via e-mail in advance, and a corkage fee will apply if your items are approved. These requests can be sent to Allison Pandy, at allison.pandy@centerplate.com
  • Display Vehicles & Trailers – The exhibiting company will be required to complete and submit the Vehicle Spotting Form to The Expo Group If your vehicle does not show on the floor plan they may not be allowed on the show floor.

Please review the following Fire Marshal regulations regarding VEHICLES/COMBUSTION ENGINES:

  • Any autos, trucks, motorcycles or other motorized vehicles displayed shall have their batteries disconnected and terminals taped.
  • All motor vehicles tanks containing fuel or which have ever contained fuel, shall be furnished with locking-type gas caps or sealed with tape. The vehicle will be allowed no more than 1/4th tank or 2 gallons, whichever is less, of fuel, including diesel-powered vehicles.

ACCOMMODATIONS 
The Hilton Orlando and the The Rosen Centre Hotel serve as the host hotels for the 2023 SEBC. The Hilton Orlando is located at 6001 Destination Parkway, Orlando, FL 32819, US. The Rosen Centre Hotel is located 9840 International Drive, Orlando, Florida, United States, 32819.

Please note that there is a $12++ fee for parking at both hotels, and a $5 resort fee at The Hilton Orlando. Exhibitors and attendees do not receive validated parking.

SECURITY
The Expo Hall will be open during designated show hours only and will be locked after show hours.

BADGES
All exhibitors and attendees will be required to have a badge in order to enter the Expo Hall.

ELIGIBLE ATTENDEES/REGISTRANTS
Those eligible to attend/register for SEBC include: builders, developers, remodelers, engineers, sub-contractors, architects, interior designers, purchasing agents, sales and marketing professionals, trade partners, exhibitors and any other individuals working in the building industry. Individuals not meeting these eligibility requirements may include: Guest/Keynote speakers, Future Builders of America members, home builder/industry association staff, press, or any other individual who has been personally invited to attend by the SEBC Committee. SEBC is not a public event. The SEBC Expo Hall will display products that may not be safe for small or unattended children. All eligible attendees/registrants must be over the age of 16 to enter the Expo Hall. Children under the age of 16 are not allowed in the Expo Hall.

BREAKDOWN POLICY
For safety reasons, exhibits are to be kept intact until the official closing of the show at 4:00 p.m. EST on July 25, 2023. You will have until 10:00 pm EST to finish breaking down. SEBC Committee members will be monitoring the hall to ensure that all exhibitors adhere to our breakdown policy.
