Florida Licensure Education Track 2 – Footings and Foundations – Friday Session

This course provides an in-depth review of Chapter 4 (Foundations) of the Florida Building Code, Residential (Eighth Edition). Participants will gain a thorough understanding of the general foundation requirements, including soil testing, grading, drainage, load-bearing capacity, and prescriptive foundation designs. Additionally, the course covers critical compliance aspects related to wind resistance, flood zone construction, and Florida Statutes Chapter 489.
