Florida Licensure Education Track 2 – Wall Construction

This course provides a comprehensive review of Chapter 6 (Wall Construction) of the Florida Building Code, Residential (Eighth Edition). Participants will gain an understanding of the design, material requirements, and structural provisions for wall construction in residential buildings. The course covers wood and masonry wall systems, bracing requirements, sheathing and fastening provisions, fire resistance, and load-bearing considerations. Additionally, the session will highlight moisture protection, wind resistance, and anchoring requirements to ensure compliance with Florida’s building regulations.
