Will Johnston, an energetic force for the micro-housing movement, is the founder and Executive Director of the MicroLife Institute. Will brings awareness to, and advocates for, the Tiny House Movement in Atlanta and the South. In 2017 his organization aided in passing a “Tiny House Appendix” for the state of Georgia, Accessory Dwelling Unit legislation for the City of Atlanta and has produced events drawing thousands of participants who are interested in living micro. Currently, Johnston focuses on advocacy and education for micro-living and what it can do for society while working on development projects building micro communities. Johnston produces Atlanta’s popular Tiny House Festivals and numerous educational events statewide to help aid the movement.
